Although one can state that Teresópolis has already become a big city, it hosts one of the most impressive and fantastic Brazilian Nature Park, the Parque Nacional da Serra dos Órgãos - PARNASO , regarded as a paradise for those who are definitely fond of climbing, trekking and even a light ride into the park. Located only 100km far from Rio de Janeiro, the city can be fairly covered in a day-off from Rio, especially if you leave very early, in order to optimize and enjoy the ride the most.
