What a lovely experience staying at this beautiful inn surrounded by nature. The new owners showed so much care and pride for their property and we loved interacting with them, the friendly staff and other guests, which we enjoyed so much. If you prefer lots of privacy, your own space and spectacular views, go for the chalets on the hilltop, they overlook mountains and rivers. They have just been repainted. Sitting on the stunning porch, with a choice of chairs or comfy sofas, enjoying the hummingbirds fly to the feeders was such a highlight especially during breakfast, which was of fantastic quality and choice. On colder days, there is a cozy lounge for relaxing if you wish. We found the location so convenient for exploring Cape Breton as well as the Bras D’Or lakes. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

The beds were super comfortable with fresh linens, and the space felt bright and tidy. The bathroom was spotless, with plenty of towels and a good shower. I also appreciated the little details — the quiet atmosphere, convenient setup with a fridge, microwave, and TV, and friendly service at check-in. Located along the Cabot Trail at a little lake. Perfect for a stop on the trail and/or ahead of leaving for the ferry to Newfoundland. Super comfy and cosy Inn. We had two lovely rooms for our family. Great talk with the innkeeper and good recommendations for dinner just 2 minutes away by car.

Super clean, well equipped room, very comfy bed too.IF the weather did turn on you, a great TV service called Roku. Very friendly approachable owner. Good location to visit Cape Breton/Cabot Trail. Lovely eateries opposite, a handy petrol station too.
