This hotel has an amazing view, very nice people are working there and the food was really good, including breakfest! The room was clean and cozy, and the view from our window - just breathtaking, the hotel is located in the middle of the Swiss Alps. It's a great place to stay for everyone who likes to go for a trekking, it's easy to go there from Brig, you just need to take a bus nr 624 and then a cable car that will take you up. I like the idea of providing the guests with a little map of the Belalp area and I really appreciate all of the recommendations. It was one of the best places where I have been so far in the mountains :) thank you!

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We were helped with the transfer of our luggage from the station and also could borrow snow shoes for outside free of charge. The view of the alps is absolutely breathtaking - it really is a winter paradise but not crowded at all so felt very relaxing and plenty of things to do (especially for those who ski). I highly recommend hotel belalp to anyone wanting to stay in top of a mountain.

My wife and I travelled here from Australia and we loved the friendly atmosphere. The hosts take great pride in the chalet and made us feel right at home. We had half board, and the food was delicious.

The view from the room was absolutely spectacular, of the entire valley below and the mountains surrounding it, like something from a movie! The room is cute, cozy and clean, with a renovated and spotless clean bathroom. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff (owner?) very nice. Hotel is located next to the gondola station so really convenient to arrive! Belalp is a wonderful location for hiking or even easy walks, with breathtaking views! Perfect visit, and i would love to visit again!

Location, how quaint and charming it is! We stayed for a night before boarding the GEX and the location is everything. Just a short 3 minutes walk to the station straight forward. Right in the centre of Brig main attractions too. The hotel itself and the suite we stayed are perfect for kids - very homey, comfortable, with nice toilet and strong showers. Toiletries from Molton Brown works too. They provide token for your hot and cold drinks at the breakfast area, and provide continental breakfast with eggs which is a plus before our ride.

Exceptional value for money in Switzerland Excellent communication re self check in. I was lucky enough to be given such a lovely room with a balcony and view of the castle.     The walk from the cable car station along the panorama trail with amazing mountain views takes approximately 25-30 minutes. There are many walking and skiing trails available around. You can have dinner a la carte at the hotel (there are not many other options in the village). Peaceful and quiet. We had a double room in the attic with a tiny window and two comfortable beds joined. The bathroom was small, but clean. Your luggage can be delivered from the cable car to the hotel, if you book in advance.

    This is a wonderful property nicely located next to the lifts. It’s a well kept and clean hotel. It’s warm and friendly with very helpful owners. The bar and restaurant area is really nice to hang out in and have friendly discussions with other guests.

    The location was perfect - 50 meters from the lift. You can also walk around Belalp or to the Aletch gletcher. If you are lucky - the views will be stunning.
