1. First word - The views are FANTASTIC from the corner rooms. The Panoramic windows gives an amazing landscape view of the city and mountains. 2. Spacious and clean rooms and bathrooms. 3. Great supply of toiletries. 4. Just 10 mins bus ride to the main Chur station (bus #6 - every 15 mins - right from the entrance of the hotel). 5. Coop supermarket located in the same building as the hotel. 6. Just 5-6 mins bus ride to a nearby Sri Lankan restaurant (Chutney) - must try if you are into Indian/Lankan food. 7. 1. Very good location with a little outlet just adjacent (in a fuel station with good service), Migros Supermarket, KFC and McDonald's for daily needs and food. 2. As usual in the IBIS chain, this hotel too is a good one with clean rooms. 3. So nice to have interconnected balconies for our rooms, it was very convenient.

    Very pleasant town, excellent bus and train services.

    Very pleasant town, excellent bus and train services. Very novel that one of the train lines actually runs through the town, next to the cars! Has both narrow and standard gauge railways too. Bus services were frequent and reliable. There are some great restaurants, good bakeries and some nice shops. We used it as a base to travel to other places, and the good train links made that very easy. It's only an hour or so outside of Zurich but a little cheaper for accommodation so that is also a bonus.

    I only had two short, separate overnighters so tired on arrival. I would have liked more time to explore the old town in daylight and also visit Arosa by train. The cathedral is beautiful and a must see. My sense of direction is poor but google maps made it easy to orientate myself.

    A nice place with a lot to see.

    A nice place with a lot to see. The old city is very clean and very lively, shops, people, little places, squares, little niches to rest, a nice urban settlement. There is also a very nice roman ruins place well protected by an incredible structure designed by the famous architect Peter Zumthor, who is local and had been doing a lot of projects in the area for the last 40 years, or so. It is worth visiting Chur for many reasons then!

    Great cable car trip up the mountain with amazing views and good walking. Several good cafes/restaurants to enjoy. The old town is simply amazing and walking round both day and night was special. Excellent choice of eateries in the town. Pretty amazing to see children properly equipped and picking up litter in the town.

    Easily enough to fill a couple of days prior to catching the train to Italy. Loved the open air pool, the cable car and the walk back to the city from the top of the mountain. Chur is worth a visit, but it struggles with the relationship between the old and new parts of the town.

    It’s picturesque and nice to walk around.

    It’s picturesque and nice to walk around. The highlight was the Bündner Kunstmuseum which was fantastic. Eating options a bit limited, and opening times of restaurants / shops seemed a bit hit and miss. Chur is very expensive.

    The property is set in a beautiful square in the Arcas part of Chur and you are not far at all from the shops and river. The communication about the property and how to get in was very good. There is a lovely cafe called cafe Arcas just next to the property, we had breakfast which was lovely but overpriced as Switzerland is. But just think of it as a beauty tax as Switzerland must be one of the most beautiful countries on earth and this square is beautiful as our its surroundings.

    Traditional English and continental breakfast. You could even get some Champagne. Unfortunately, the vegan options were limited. The hotel is in the middle of the old town of Chur and is easily accessible by train. It consists of various houses that are amazingly connected. The venue blew me away.
