Chose this place specifically for how close it was to Spiez, as we took the train from Frankfurt (Germany) airport, and we spent a couple of days in Interlaken. Communication with staff (Stefan) was great. The loft apartment was perfect for us (2 couples), and was very clean.

The food and drinks provided in the room were beyond exceptional! We did not even utilize the free breakfast, because there was so much food in the room when we arrived! The view was to die for, and Christine and Petra went above and beyond for us. I 100% recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Interlaken area!

We waited two years (because of the corona virus) for our vacation in this magical castle. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful sites in Switzerland. A real castle, gives you the feeling you are a real king. All hotel services are excellent, the staff is friendly and hospitable. The continental breakfast is served in the dining room with a view of the lake We had a pampering, luxurious, and very special vacation. Only good things can be said about this magical place. Although the price is not cheap, it is worth the money. This is one of the most beautiful castles in Europe and the best service we received in Switzerland

    We liked the friendliness of the hosts, the bathroom, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and rural atmosphere. We ate at several of the nearby restaurants with lakeside dining. We did not have a car but it was easy to get to the location by bus #60 from the Spiez train station. All in all it was a great place to stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

    Very pretty place but not much to do apart from a few...

    Very pretty place but not much to do apart from a few restaurants and a Church. Good if you want somewhere slightly out of nearby Spiez, which is easily accessible or as an effective overnight stop when hiking. Probably not so much to recommend it as a destination per se.

    Excellent location, 2 min walk from the lake, stunning mountain views. Well furnished apartment with all modern amenities including free parking. Vlog supermarket and few restaurants at stone's throw distance... Very supportive and friendly hosts. I would definitely come back here and would recommend this place to all my friends. Truly wonderful experience here at Faulensee! Special thanks to the wonderful greeting card and personal edition Faulensee Chocolate gift for my son on his birthday!
