I loved everything about this property, we had an exceptional experience during our stay at this hotel , I knew that we booked a 5-star hotel but I was not sure expecting this outstanding experience in regards to the kindness and welcoming manners of the staff , cleanliness of the apartment , the vast of space of the apartment and how cozy the hotel was during this autumn/ early winter time. This by far , and I am a well-travelled person, is the best hotel / resort experience I ever had in my life.

- we loved our rooms, very spacious - we got a free room upgrade (we had 3 rooms) - super friendly staff! Very helpful. - breakfast was nice - housekeeping cleaned the rooms twice a day with turndown service which we loved!! - there was always a gift in the room, like chocolate, cake, fruits, etc.. - very thoughtful management - rooms had huge balconies in the suits. - we enjoyed the new year’s eve dinner, the kitchen was very accommodating of our needs and requests.

Classic, beautiful facility and grounds. Fragrance of flowers all around. Lovely, helpful staff. Cute village with historic buildings, homes, churches, and schools. Nearby hiking and walking trails for all levels. Fabulous views from atop San Salvatore ... and many other places. Wonderful breakfast. Nice restaurants at the hotel and nearby. Public transport easy from hotel. A great spot to explore lakes Lugano (underrated!), Como and Maggiore, plus the awesome Valle di Verzasca.
