Fred's Hotel was next to the railway station and opposite the bus station. This enabled us to travel to Zurich by train and walk to the hotel. Several restaurants are also conveniently located in this area. The close proximity of the bus station enabled us to participate in 2 excellent sight seeing tours without any hassles. Zurich is an elegant and cultural city surrounded by high mountains and beautiful country side.

I work in Zurich five days a week, yet I rarely get to enjoy all the city has to offer. It was great to take advantage of a conveniently-located hotel so that my partner and I could enjoy seeing Tosca at the Opera House, and then meet some of my work colleagues afterward at a self-described "dive bar" just off the infamous Langstrasse. It is super easy to get around Zurich using the tram system, so you can see many things in a short amount of time. For anyone thinking of driving a car into Zurich, my advice is to use the trams instead.

With a vibrant history, cultural city Zurich and surrounding areas Awesome. I love to visit Zurich again in future. Marvellous food, great transport, landscape, historical buildings and lake views of Zurich city fabulous.

Zurich is a vibrant city. Love the river and promenading by it. Bad experience at check in at the airport, and having almost a nightmare with the free ride offered by booking. Next time please have clear identification on driver

We spend quite a bit of time in Switzerland every summer and Fall but concentrate most of our time on the mountains, not the cities. However, every time I’m in the cities I am reminded that I also enjoy them, too. The Old Towns, that is. They are quaint and lovely for restaurants and strolling thru historic neighborhoods and tours if you like that kind of thing.

avoid staying in zurich more then 1 days and for better expeience and save time , stay in interlaken or luzern however most if the group tour start from zurich so one has to plan trips to titlus or other areas accordingly .
