Breakfast was a feast and delicious. Our tour with Miguel was informative and very fun. The hotel is new and very nice! It’s a quick ride to the Main Street with lots of yummy food and things to do. Juan is a stellar taxi driver, too. Everyone was friendly and would highly recommend! They even went out of the way to help my husband surf.

It's the perfect hotel. I came for solitude and relaxation, and Hare Uta is like a utopia. The resort itself is a beautiful botanical garden with most amazingly beautiful flowers. Room is clean. The staffs are considerate, even you can order sandwich for taking off. I tried different restaurants in town then found out they have the most exquisite food here. It's away from the town so quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed the company of the noisy chicken too. It's one of my favorite places on earth.

Great breakfast, lots of options, staff always around to offer support and suggestions. All restaurants with great food for any preferred kind of meal, even vegan and vegetarian. Room was incredible with a great view even not sea front, Shower with strong and hot water, a bathtub very well positioned in the room where you can relax after a full day of exploration. NO TV - that was awesome Native dance show presented by local people. It was really nice. Full property was nice, the spa I used once and was a good experience. It was cold, no chance to try the swimming pool even been very welcoming Staff very well trained, nice, helpful and available at all times Hotel photos reflect exactly what you will find there upon arrival.

Beautiful grounds, terrific location, and Edith was so pleasant! For a last-minute change to our itinerary, Edith was accommodating and willing to do whatever was needed to make our stay amazing. I was very excited for my trip to Rapa Nui, as it had always been a lifetime dream. My stay at Atavai Hotel made it even more special—it honestly felt like visiting friends from the very first minute until the last. I was warmly welcomed at the airport by Antoine and his family with a beautiful flower lei, and they kindly drove me to the hotel. Antoine took the time to explain what to do on Rapa Nui while I was sipping my fresh juice and then showed me to my room. The room was simple but very nice. It had everything I needed—Wi-Fi, a TV, a fridge, a kettle with tea and coffee. It was very clean and comfortable. Once you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful tropical plants and trees—it truly feels like a little piece of heaven. I only managed to have breakfast once during my stay because I had early tours most mornings, but that one breakfast was fantastic with a fresh omelette, fruit salad, and more. On my departure day, Antoine even suggested I spend my time exploring the town, and he personally brought my luggage to the airport before my flight. How nice is that! Small gestures like this really made me feel at home.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Chez Hiva. It is conveniently located for the airport, and the Ahu Tahai moai and the main shopping area of Hanga Roa are both within easy walking distance. We rented the Maíka duplex apartment, which was spacious and comfortably furnished. Our check-in went smoothly and Lorena the host was very helpful throughout our stay. The property is gated, so feels safe, and there is ample roadside parking outside, which is handy if you have a rental car.

    This was a trip of a lifetime. I recommend everyone to visit Easter island. There is so much to do and see. This is an amazing place to visit. We loved doing the tours around the island and seeing the Moais everywhere and learning about the history of the island. My favorite places were the Quarry, Anakena beach and seeing the sunrise at Tongariki.

    Leave your watch and sense of urgency behind when traveling to Rapa Nui. Days begin with the sounds of Cocks crowing, the weather is temperate and the night skies are filled with stars. There are a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars for all budget levels (generally moderate priced). BOOK YOUR AIRPORT ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TRANSPORTATION (we did it through our hotel) in advance-taxi's are not abundant. We enjoyed the tours--make sure to see the sunset at Ahu Tahai and the sunrise at Tongariki!

    Hanga Roa is like a garden in bloom!

    Hanga Roa is like a garden in bloom! So green and calm, and tranquil. Great place. It's even ton a town, just a village with houses hidden in green bushes. Lot's of authentic stone sculptures on the coast. Great seafood in restaurants. And impressive dance shows. Highly recommend!

    Easter Island is a wonderful place - so remote and full of mystery. Be aware you need to book a guide in advance for most of the best places, so it is expensive. We had a private guide for one day and she was excellent. We hired a car for our other 2 days which gave us the flexibility to go where we wanted. Highlights for us were sunrise at Tonariki, sunset at Tahai, the caldera of the volcano Ranu Kau, paddling with a turtle at Pea beach, and the less-well-known beach at Ovahe - small but pretty and very few people. It is slightly less accessible but fine with our car and a 5 minute walk. Lots of great fish restaurants! Driving was easy apart from lots of pot holes on many roads.

    The town itself is small and compact, low-key. Great food every night at even small little restaurants. Not much night life. People come for the scenery and history. the rainy weather a few days made it harder to enjoy the sights, so check your timing.

    The hotel grounds are like something out of a story book. Seriously the grounds are just magical. The painstaking attention to detail in absolutely every aspect of the landscaping and construction is abundantly obvious and goes a long way to transport you to a beautiful island retreat. This place was obviously meticulously built over a long period of time and is kept up so well. The owner clearly takes immense pride in his hotel - as he should. It’s seriously a work of art. We absolutely loved our stay.
