This has been so far the best hotel I’ve come across during my travels in China. The hotel is beautifully designed in an old Chinese fashion. The location is also convenient as it takes only about 3 minutes to the subway station. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Part of the hotel is also a restaurant serving delicious local dishes. However special thanks belong to the staff! They all speak perfect English and are amazingly helpful with everything you need. Their manager even helped me as I struggled with ordering the food in the restaurant as I speak no Chinese. Thank you again!

Room had two queen size beds which was perfect for a family of four. In addition, the customer service was excellent and offered us late checkout from the normal 2pm (!!) to 3pm.

This hotel was incredibly comfortable: it was very clean, the beds were good, the pillows were the best (I believe they were memory-foam), I could barely hear any noise coming from outside my room, and the air-conditioning worked like a charm. The staff were friendly and available whenever I needed them, the breakfast was good, the value is great, and the location couldn't be better!

Staying at the Ritz while visiting Chengdu was probably the best hotel decision we could have taken. It is well known that this hotel has impeccable service, great locations and offers a luxury experience and we were not disappointed. All the staff member spoke very good English. We were very nicely greeted and the staff was very friendly, open and talkative. The breakfast has a big variety of western and chinese cuisine. The Ritz is right at the center of Chengdu which made getting to different places easy. The room was spacious and very comfortable even for three people in one room. After we checked out we found out our flight was canceled and one staff member sat down with us and helped us sort everything out. As non Chinese speakers we relied on help and she called the airline for us and explained to us, what has happened. We would definitely recommend this hotel! A special thanks to Ankita, Kiki and TT who made our stay in Chengdu even more memorable.

Very close to the subway exit (with elevator). Nice city view from the rooms. Breakfast worths a try, especially given the fact that it is a reasonably priced 50 RMB per person. The staff is pretty nice. The spicy hotpot （蜀大俠）nearby is fantastic too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very communicative on messages, which I appreciate very much, that’s a strong point for the hotel. They helped to arrange my panda breeding centre tickets. Also, they received my Tibet permit well in advance where they handed over to me once I arrived. Room was very comfortable. Good modern one with beautiful artworks. Many pillows options that you can request. Mini bar is there. You have a nice kettle as well. Breakfast is the highlight. You’ve a massive breakfast

Everything. Excellent English speaking staff. Great location in an old neighbourhood, close to Wenshu Monastery and the metro station bearing its name. Boutique hotel combining antique furniture and modern amenities. Great value for money. Superb view from the balcony.
