This is the best example of a homestay! Cora opened her home for us, two tired parents with young children - and after travelling Costa Rica for a month, she took such good care of us and stepped in as grandmother for a moment. Her granddaughters also were so sweet and played with our sons. Cora makes the best breakfast we have ever had (!) but also made delicious dinner one night and went with us to the beach one day. The house is beautiful and the garden as well. Highly recommended!

Cute, well appointed, brand new cabins as of 2022. Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Nandayure, Hotel y restaurante Maktub is a campground surrounded by views of the garden.

Palmetto Lodge in Playa San Miguel provides adults-only accommodation with pool with a view, a garden and a bar. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

My husband and I LOVE Palmetto Lodge the best from our stay in Costa Rica. The location was beautiful, and secluded, with an amazing view. The owners were so kind and inviting. They've worked so hard on their property and the work is 1000% reflected in their lodge. The breakfast was AMAZING! Everything homemade. Their hospitality was the best.

Amazing place, a hidden gem in a remote place near the beach of Bejuco. This beautiful guests house exceeded our expectations from the very beginning, the view is outstanding with an infinity pool, comfortable bed and an amazing breakfast. Verena and Ernesto are just the most amazing hosts for this Palace surrounded by tropical forests and hundreds of birds. Definitely a very peaceful paradise. Recommended to all my friends with no doubt. Can't wait to come back.

The location was good as it was close to the beach and not far from the town. The views from the terrace and pool were amazing and proved a great vantage point for watching the birds and wildlife of the surrounding area. The staff were warm and welcoming; nothing was too much trouble. We felt relaxed and comfortable there and we're sad to leave. Thanks to everyone

EVERYTHING! I cannot speak highly enough of this place. We stayed for 2 nights in the premium king hut and wow... unreal! The hut itself was everything you could have wished, you didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. The view from any point of the resort will leave you speechless...This was alone worth the price. My spouse, who is celiac, notified Chris and his staff beforehand of the dietary restriction, they took the utmost care ensuring each of her meals were safe to eat. She couldn't have been in better hands! Visit this little gem before it blows up and is impossible to book! Kintiri was the perfect was to finish off our trip, we can't wait to come back!
