Really enjoyed the quaint town of Playa Negra. It is a welcoming refresh after the touristy-ness of Tamarindo. A little off the beaten path, Playa Negra has just everything you need. A few small cafes and restaurants, some small mini markets for groceries, and a beautiful piece of coastline. We were there to surf and it did not disappoint! The bigger wave of Playa Negra was really fun. There was also a smaller beach break right next to it which was great for learning. We also enjoyed going to a Sunday art market at the local skatepark. It is a small town but absolutely beautiful! Would definitely come again!Guest review byMarilynUnited States
