Great location and loved the beach area. Easy walking distance to restaurants. The pool was refreshing and staff were helpful. The yoga class on Tuesday was a nice touch. There were also fresh coconuts in the frig for us to enjoy.

Really comfortable and private hotel for a great price in Puerto Viejo. We loved the size and layout of the room, the patio area and the pool was a nice bonus. It was close to everything but far enough that there was no traffic noise or music from the local clubs. Filtered water and coffee offered daily was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff was friendly, attentive and courteous. Kim went out of her way to ensure a memorable vacation and provided services that exceeded our expectations. The property was well cared for and the updates and upcoming renovations are sure to please upcoming guests. The housekeeping staff, maintenance people and groundkeepers were all welcoming and greeted us with a smile each time we ran into them. I wouldn't choose another location in this super sweet beach town...you shouldn't either!

    Our hotel, Arrecife Punta Uva, was right on the beach and...

    Our hotel, Arrecife Punta Uva, was right on the beach and very conveniently close to a restaurant. There were plenty of seating areas and hammocks provided, which made it easy to relax. One of the highlights was a beautiful viewpoint on a cliff about a 10-minute walk away—definitely worth the short hike. The food at the restaurant was also quite good.

    Picture perfect beach with a restaurant that hosted live music in the evenings. It was beautiful with a nice atmosphere. However parking was very crowded with the only free parking be on a narrow and very busy road.

    Punta Uva Beach in Costa Rica is a true gem. This stunning beach offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and tranquility. The crystal-clear turquoise waters and pristine white sand create a breathtaking setting. Definitely, a place I would come back to.
