These paths are not just walks; they are journeys through time, narrating stories of the past with every step. The pinnacle of our historical exploration was the visit to Kasperk Castle. Nestled quite close to Kašperské Hory, the castle stands as a testament to the area's fascinating history. Its majestic presence is complemented by the stories and legends that echo through its walls, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in the past. Another unforgettable experience was our trek to Pusty Hradek. The effort was rewarded with an awe-inspiring view of Castle Kasperk, a sight so magnificent it's etched in my memory. The tourist information was very very helpful. A lot of really-really nice reasonable cafes & restaurants, all within easy walking distance. The local grocery store closed by 18:00 (plan carefully!) A nice hike up to the Castle & around the area. Easy access by local bus, connecting you to Klatovy & Susice. Everything is preserved in the style of First republic with originality, style and feelings. Location is close to the " downtown" of Kasperske hory, in the nature with beutiful view. The chirch and chappel with healing spring across the street has rich and interesting history. The owner provided us a tour to the church. Ilona, the host, was so kind and helpful and we communicated well with the use of Apps! I slept very well here and used the well-appointed kitchen as well as going out to eat locally.
