Pisek is known as "Little Prague."
Pisek is known as "Little Prague." It is a lovely, historic town on the Otava River with great restaurants and cafes, a stone bridge that is older than Charles Bridge in Prague, an interesting city museum, and easy access to numerous hiking and bicycling trails. Great castles (e.g. Orlik, Zvikov) are nearby. It was liberated by the US 3rd Army at the end of WWII. Well worth a visit!Guest review byRoyUnited States

Accommodation had all facilities you need to be able to cook and has dishwasher, washing machine, iron/ironing board and clothes drying rack. Very clean, comfortable and modern! Will definitely be returning next time we visit Pisek! Also, a walking distance to the center of the town.
