FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale façade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Prague Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city centre after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

A capital of Europe in its own right with views from bygone era to equal Vienna. One can feel and taste the Holy Roman Empire wherever you go supported by the rich Jewish and Czech history. I would recommend at least three days for the visit.

Prague is a stunning city with lots to do and see.

Prague is a stunning city with lots to do and see. One main trip would be to make sure you understand the exchange rate. I saw many places trying to charge crazy money for things. £17 for a cocktails for example. Check out Annie's bar, just around the corner from the clock and square. Flying cloud ipa was the best pint in Prague

Prague is a great city to visit ,best in spring or summer but still very enjoyable any time of the year. Before visiting I recommend watching the honest guide videos on youtube .A couple of apps I find invaluable for the transport system are Pid litacka and Pubtran.

    Two days is plenty.

Two days is plenty. Did a free walking tour first morning which was great. See the upper gardens of the Prague Castle but don’t waste your time and money on the castle. Very little to see in a medieval building with little furnishings.

    Wonderful historical place!

Wonderful historical place! Too many tourists and need advance reservation for some places. I did not know that the Combination ticket for the National Museums allow us to visit any National museum in Plaque. I could not see the information anywhere. If I had known this, I would schedule my visit more effectively. You need at least 4 to 5 full (if your stay period has Monday) days to enjoy Prague.

Beautiful city, some lovely places to visit...but I found it over-run with tourists, which made it very busy! We did some of the normal historical sites, but also did the National Gallery instead of the National Museum and I can highly recommend it. We loved the wonderful restaurants and coffee shops. I can highly recommend Nostress as well as The Food Lab which were located close to our hotel. Wonderful dinner at Kogo, as well as at Sia (Asian).

This Hotel is located in the nice and calm neighbourhood Holesovice some 4km north of the old town square. To get to the city centre you can take the tram (stop some 300m away) which will only take approx. 15mins. Our room and the Hotel in general was really clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was included and very delicious and very varied. Parking was also free, either in the underground car park or opposite the Hotel entrance in the street. So good value for your money.

Good location. Walking distance to old Town Square & Charles Bridge. Close to supermarket "Billa"(500m) There are one Chinese & Vietnam restaurant inside the mall opposite to the hotel (300m) together with a small grocery. Close to metro, light rail& bus station. Uber to the Castle & Lenon Wall is cheap. It a good choice in summer afternoons. Go Sedlec Ossuary & St Barbara church is excellent for one day trip. You will never forget for sure. Breakfast is great.

Unique lovely hotel, excellent room with large comfortable bed, private ensuite with great shower, everything spotlessly clean, fantastic and helpful staff, great location near old town square. The breakfast was good and the restaurant and bar top notch with great food, beer and very reasonable prices. If I go back to Prague this is where I will stay

Rooms were nice and clean though a bit small in size. Its more of a no frills hotel and doesn't have all the different facilities. Its walkable (~1.2 kms) from the Old Town Square and around. We have trams and trains nearby too. Breakfast is not extensive, but has a good spread.
