It’s location was perfect… It’s in New Town, so it was quiet and away from the crowds of Old Town buy also only a 10 minute walk from the Old Town. Since they opened very recently, the hotel rooms were exceptionally clean. We actually didn’t even bother to wear slippers in the room. The staff was also wonderful and super helpful. Eventhough we didn’t get breakfast, they let us help ourselves to a cup of coffee every morning. Overall, this is the best hotel for your money. Looking forward to coming back with friends.

It was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Such a wide variety of optios for breakfast. Rooms super clean, and bed so big and so comfortable. We went for a concert at O2 arena and it was very convenient. Also, very good public transport connection with the center of Prague. Quiet and not crowded area. Would definitely stay again. Very stylish too.

FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully, the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale facade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city center after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

Beautiful city with great architecture, I took some one day trips to Karlovy Vary, Cesky Krumlov and Olomouc. Plus I stayed one day visiting Prague. I loved it. The only problem that I encountered, not only in Prague but in most cities in Europe, is that it's overcrowded even if i was there in October. I don't want to imaging being there during the Summer. It should be very Chaotic!!

Prague is a wonderful and beautiful city.

Prague is a wonderful and beautiful city. I visited 8 years ago and had great memories, so naturally wanted to return. Prague Castle is stunning and I love running along the river, across the Charles Bridge on the other side of town. A few things that shocked me about Prague was the pollution and amount of people smoking (like everywhere). It was a constant battle to get any fresh air. I understand it’s a small city, with populated areas in the old town, but perhaps they need to think about electric cars, or other options to lesson the pollution. I ended up booking a tour to the Saxon National Park on the second day to get out. Was quite disappointing. Even the taxi from the airport into town was so old, the diesel was pumping into the vehicle. Was horrible. Massive issue. It’s disappointing because it’s certainly lost its charm when I visited all those years ago. Also, if you’re coffee obsessed like I am, this is not the city for you. The coffee is shocking in Prague, as they mainly make it from a machine, rather than barrister.

Just walking around, took tram 22 and visited the castle and walked back via the Charles Bridge - packed! Saw Jewish district. Walked round old town. Saw a brilliant swing gig by bigbandtrumpets.com at the Reduta Jazz Club. Great evening but don’t have the red wine! Ate at Alriso Italian as it’s completely gluten free (I’m coeliac so it’s crucial) and there are two other completely gluten free restaurants which regrettably we didn’t have time to try but we had a room with kitchenette at the Julius so made simple meals there a couple of evenings which was lovely as it was chilly out. It’s a beautiful city.

Charles Bridge – Go early or late to avoid crowds; it’s magical when empty. Prague Castle & St. Vitus Cathedral – Not just a castle, but a complex of palaces, courtyards, and churches with panoramic views. 🚋 Getting Around Prague Yes — it’s very easy to get around! The public transport system is excellent: trams, buses, and the metro are clean, cheap, and frequent. The trams are especially scenic, passing through historic neighborhoods and along the river. Walking is also a joy — most major sights are within a compact central area. Just be ready for cobblestones (comfortable shoes are a must). Stroll through Malá Strana – Quaint streets, hidden gardens, and cute cafés.

I think it's the most beautiful city I've been to., recently anyway, by day and by night. The architecture really takes you back in time. I couldn't get sick of crossing the river with those amazing views. The tram network is fantastic. There are some really beautiful hill parks. Even though there were a lot of tourists it didn't feel overwhelming like in some places. The sunny weather always helps of course!

We had a fabulous 4 day stay at the Julius and liked everything about this hotel. Rooms are really well designed, with a modern, minimal vibe and very comfortable. We stayed in one of the studios with a kitchenette which had absolutely everything we needed. Staff were incredibly friendly and very responsive. Its a great location just a short walk from the Old Town Square and the sights but in a quiet and less touristy area. Would highly recommend.
