Miesbach turned out to be a great place to stay during our trip. The town has all the essential services nearby, especially car rental. Its location was very convenient – close enough for a day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle, and also perfectly situated for continuing our journey to the next hotel closer to Austria the following day.
