We were really happy with our visit to Vejle. I had read that it was an interesting place to visit but was still very surprised how much was going on during our weekend. I love visiting cities I can walk around and Vejle is easily walkable. Vejle is a calm, small city different than Copenhagen, but worth visiting. It has its charm with a few interesting places (e.g. The Wave, The Fjordenhouse, a pier or a panorama café on the 11th floor at The Zleep Hotel Vejle). Best place to stay when going to Billund or any other City. Thank God we got to go there and see the Architecture and cozy little City that Vejle is. Vejle is a nice sized town with lovely shops, lovely people...
Vejle is a nice sized town with lovely shops, lovely people and enough tourist places to go and see. It has lovely architecture, good museums and beaches nearby. Good restaurants with great and plentiful food. Go to the harbour area to see the buildings there, really really interesting. The beer is excellent and a good variety if you like a good one. Did not check out the nightlife sorry. Good train, and bus opportunities. The airport bus stops there and easy to fly to from Manchester or London. Takes around 1/2 hour.
