According to my knowledge there is only one such cozy and friendly in beautiful historic Constantine! Recently open, nicely decorated and located in the middle of Old Town. There are two persons in the staff who speak fluent English: Mr Mohammed and Miss Shima. They take good care about the guests. Tasty breakfast is included: coffee of your choice, yoghurt, boiled eggs and breads. And all is located on the busy commercial streets of Kazba, close to the canyon bridges, Ahmed Bey mosque and palace and Main Square (1st November). Your bakery is just round the corner and fruit & veggie bazar 100 m away!

A good position for exploring. If you have a mountain view room then you have got a bonus. It’s a cracking view. I arrived after midnight and night receptionist, Naoufel, was professional, smart, very welcoming and helpful. A great asset to the hotel. The other staff whom I met, were likewise helpful and hospitable.

    There are no tourist maps available, so make sure that your mobile plan includes Algeria so that you can use your maps app, or print out a map in advance. You can walk the bridges on your own, but it takes 3-4 hours and easy to get lost.

    Beautiful city but quite dirty.

    Beautiful city but quite dirty. If you are ready not to notice trash that people throw through the window you will enjoy. People are very friendly and helpful. If you don't know French or Arabic be prepared to use translator. City is easy to manage on feet if you don't mind to walk for a long. Bridges are amazing.
