Jacuzzi, pool, bar, restaurant, really confortable rooms. The staff are also super lovely. I forgot my phone in the taxi, and the receptionist and manager of the hostel helped me get it back, including calling the taxi rank and driving me to where it was, once I’d been able to track it. Incredibly grateful for their help!!

The room was ample, the beds and the bath comfortable. We had a very nice balcony with a view of the mountain. The staff was very friendly and on top of things. They made good recommendations for us to go to a spa or the local hot springs. Free parking and a good breakfast. They also had water to refill bottles.

We had the most amazing time at 593 Hotel Boutique. We got a better room than we had paid for, it was beautiful and clean. Jorge is the best guide you can imagine. Everyday he prepared breakfast for us according to our wishes and helped us out with different things. Would definitely recommend!!

Hotel Ilé is an exceptional, family run hotel. From arrival to departure our stay was faultless. Our double aspect room was delightful and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and lovely hot showers. The location was excellent, walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. Our breakfast every morning was perfect and served with wonderful coffee.

    We LOVED Banos! It was such a wonderful town with such friendly people. So much to do and more we could have done! Absolutely would return to explore more and spend more time within the rainforest too!

    Very fun place to visit for people who like diferente sport activities. We did some hiking, zip lines, paragliding, and wished that we had more time to do other things. If you are not into sports, one day is enough.

    One of the most beautiful places we have traveled to in the...

    One of the most beautiful places we have traveled to in the 30+ countries we have visited. Lush green vegetation clinging to beautiful mountains and gorges with incredible waterfalls that will take your breath away again and again. All of this located below an incredible volcano and at the gateway of the Ecuador Amazon with so many other unique opportunities to explore. There are so many activities to choose from right in Banos (ziplining, canyoneering, rafting, hiking, biking, cable cars, shopping, dining out), you will wish you had planned more time in your vacation to spend in this beautiful location. Very friendly people. Pretty much all of the hotels are privately owned, making your stay feel more genuine and like you are able to more directly support the people in the local community. You won't regret making time in your vacation to visit Banos. We stayed at Hotel Santa Lucia and the staff were wonderful. We used GeoTours for many of our activities and they were amazing. They made sure our kids had a great time while making sure we all stayed safe.

    It is a great place for a vacation for a couple or family...

    It is a great place for a vacation for a couple or family with children. Attractive town and market. Great variety of restaurants with delicious food. So many attractions nearby for adventure seekers. Our 8 and 10 year olds had a fantastic time. Our visit to Banos was 7 days.

    Banks is a suitable destination for all travellers.

    Banks is a suitable destination for all travellers. There are more than enough activities for adrenalin junkies: buggy jumping, ziplining, rafting, swing at the top of the world ... For the rest of us the walk to the Devil's cauldron is eminently doable especially in the opposite side along the catwalks. Downtown is a lovely cathedral and a good selection of tourists tat. Don't mix the taffee pullers and be sure to take some home. One of the highlights of Banos are the many remarkable restaurants. Don't miss The Swiss Bistro. There is a great and very interesting small zoo of local fauna at the edge of town. For those interested there is a reptilarium opposite the zoo.

    A lot of people do a day tour to Banos from Quito, but I...

    A lot of people do a day tour to Banos from Quito, but I think it is insane, since it takes about 2.5 / 3 hours to get there. Therefore, I think staying couple of nights helps, giving time to explore the little town and all the activities and waterfalls around. The "cascadas" tour is probably the best!

    Amazing stay in beautiful Baños! The accommodation is in a good location, a few minutes walk from the city center. It is very easy to find and offers secure parking. It is located in a quiet street so you can sleep well. The beds are comfortable, it is very clean, private, with great wifi. The host was extremely friendly and helpful and they really try to make you feel good. If you need anything, they are available 24 hours. I definitely recommend it!

    Super kind and friendly staff, marvelous location, quiet and close to Termas de la Virgen. The breakfast at first looks simple but a very friendly staff soon offers your eggs made to taste and there are many goodies like jams, granola cereal, liquid yogurt, etc. So very tasty and filling. The bed was so comfy and came with tons of firm or soft pillows. Lastly the terrace and overall view of the falls and Baños was mesmerizing.

    Great property, even better hosts / owners. The property is a jungle oasis hidden in the mountains at the base of a waterfall but just a few short minutes can from town. A great way to enjoy the tranquility of Baños without sacrificing comfort or breaking the bank! The owner helped arrange a taxi that took us around all the sites and we had an epic time. Breakfast was great and the whole experience was immensely pleasant.
