I stayed here during a cycling trip and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hotel is very cyclist-friendly, with a secure car park for guest that has a secure bike rack and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to relax after a day on the bike. It’s in a great location too—right in Olot, with easy access to local restaurants and just a short ride to some fantastic routes in the surrounding area. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and truly went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and well looked after. It’s that kind of service that really makes a stay memorable :) Highly recommended, especially if you’re travelling with your bike!

When we chose the hotel, we knew where we were going from Barcelona. It is a wonderful village and natural area, where you will rarely meet a tourist. In October, everything is green, warm, cozy. The hotel is perfectly built in the very center of the old town, next to a very old church. There are no views of the mountains from the window. We spent a few days alone in the hotel. we were able to use the halls, make coffee. Very neat and weighty. Next time we will go only here.

This was a welcoming and very pleasant place to stay at the end of December, with a warm and comfortable bedroom suite including a spacious bathroom with a good bath as well as shower. The breakfast was excellent, including tasty good-quality local ham and cheese. Dinner was separately available at the La Deu restaurant across the road and was of spectacularly good quality and good value. The hotel and its garden are in the forest, with many birds around, and a beautiful scenic walk along a quiet little country road to get in or out of town in 20 minutes (or easily by taxi).

The owner was a very decent lady. The apartment was very clean, spacious for 4 people and the air con worked well. There y plenty of plates, cups etc. The shower was okay, beds were comfortable enough and all in all, for the price this was a great stay.

From the start, we had a great experience. The owners contacted us straight away explaining how everything works around the area and how to get to the apartment. They’ve been very responsive throughout our stay. The place is beautifully decorated, the lights are dimmed around every area, it gives you a sense of peace. The shower is lovely and they left us some drinks and sweets for breakfast. The pool is amazing and the music too! Totally recommend. We’ll be back.

It is a very comfortable hotel built and designed in an elegant and pleasant architectural style. I very much liked my spacious and elegantly furnished room. And I felt really welcome and well looked after by the hotel staff. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. In a nutshell: Vall de Bas is a hotel to which I will certainly return.

Maite was great! She made our stay exceptional- helped with recommendations and check on us often! The hotel is lovely and a nice change of pace from others with the open grounds and pool. Olot is the nearest town and is a gem. We stayed 2 nights but could have stayed a few days more to explore the area! We will return!!!
