The location is literally in the middle of nowhere (in a positive way). You get to experience quiet, easy and relaxing night. Hearing the sound of the birds in the morning... something you can't experience in the cities. The views are beautiful. If you're a person who enjoys slower pace of living, this is for you! For breakfast buffet is rich, you have a lot of choices - basically anything you want.

It was a dream, we were greeted with fresh lemonade and shown around this incredible home full of personal touches. To top it off the rooftop sunset views of the Gramzela region and the amazing trails right nearby and the adjacent road with a spring made it incredibly beautiful. Very eco friendly, everything is made on site! Amazing breakfast full of fruit and veg that were freshly picked from the family allotment.

The house was lovely and very spacious. It was perfect for our family. The courtyard garden,pool and BBQ house was very private and safe. We arranged an outside caterer to come and provide a BBQ for us,one night, which was fantastic and delicious. A lot of thought has gone into the decor of the house. Very homely. A little oasis. Will definitely be back.

The room was very nice and the bed so comfortable. The bathroom was small but still nice and clean. The patio and the building itself were beautiful. Very friendly at the reception, everything went well and the lady was willing to help. They have a restaurant which is nice looking, the food there is really good. Breakfast offered as well. Really good place, would recommend!

    Montecorto is a beautiful 'Pueblo Blanco' and the water that flows through it feels restorative. It's a great home base for a fews days or a week or more if you love the outdoors. Hiking in the surrounding area (Montecorto and Grazalema) was terrific with good trails, so many spring wildflowers and amazing views. If you like history at all, don't miss the prehistoric caves (Cueva de la Pileta). Just driving around this part of Andalucia was spectacular. Many good restaurants in Grazalema especially.

    A magical quiet and peaceful place with wonderful soulful views of the mountains, fantastic hiking trails and the charming accompaniment of the sound of the water course that runs through the village from the pine forest. Special if you love nature, peace and simplicity.

    A beautiful friendly village with stunning Mountain View’s. And the 8 drinking water springs are all dedicated to inspiring women. This location is perfect for visiting the local area including Ronda and yet much quieter.

    The reason for visiting this area is to relax in the midst of nature so choosing a place to stay that provides this is all that is required to enjoy the area. Montecorto (the village) is beautiful but sleepy - you can't expect to do much here, but that is it's charm.

    The hotel is some distance from Montecorto.

    The hotel is some distance from Montecorto. The village itself has few amenities. The area is really for those that want peace and quiet or to hike, birdwatch or simply enjoy the scenery and nature. Ronda is around 12 km and the coast can be reached within an hour. Both have a selection of restaurants from simple cafes to high end. eateries.

    Breakfast choices were a little limited, but everything was of very good quality. Dinner was very nice and the service was always very good. The hotel is located in a very quiet place in the middle of nature in a valley between the mountains, the perfect place to relax and be away from noise and busy life. It's nearby lots of beautiful hiking and cycling tracks, so also a good place for more active travelers. The room was in authentic style, very clean and well maintained.

    The setting of this hotel is really beautiful - the views from our room and from the terrace at dinner and breakfast were magical. The staff member we dealt with was really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool, and the surroundings of the hotel such as the old bullring and the chapel are really charming. Beautiful dark skies at night to see the stars.

    Beautiful location. We came to ride and had a fantastic experience. The dressage lessons in particular were excellent on beautiful horses. We hadn’t expected the food which was extraordinarily good. Foodies will absolutely love this place! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend La Donaira, a small but perfectly formed boutique hotel.
