What a pleasant surprise! One of the few dog friendly places on our journey, stopped for one night only, with very low expectations , but we were impressed . For the price (44 euros / double room with bathroom + 10 euros for the dog) it was excellent : clean , smelled nice , clean linen and towels , views of the mountain , quiet , quaint village where dogs can be walked off the leash in the woods . Great service too.

Teruel is a small town and I suppose this is the best hotel you can get there. Do not get me wrong the establishment will live up to your expectations as a four star hotel. It is centrally located, rooms are spacious and clean and there are plenty of facilities.

Gran Hotel Botánicos is situated in central Teruel, across the street from the train station and near Torre del Salvador and Escalinata del Óvalo.

Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable-- and nicely decorated. Also appreciated the mini fridge. Bathroom was spacious and modern. Breakfast spread was generous and varied. Location in historic Teruel is lovely.
