The apartment was clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed for our short stay. The apartment is close to the train station and restaurants and stores. The apartment is on the third floor without an elevator, which may be difficult for someone with a disability.

The room is massive and the distribution of beds, curtains, own lights and electricity sockets were so perfectly done that felt like being in room alone ! Perfect room temperature with aircon always on, nice garde with pool and very surprisingly well stocked breakfast! And really nice, chilled vibe! As well 30 seconds walk from the train station :) Possibility to use the fridge and cook own meals :) As well thank You so much that not only could leave my backpack for the whole day almost and take shower when already checked out! The delightful Catalan town of Portbou, on the border with France is not as frequented by tourists as other towns on the Mediterranean coast and is highly recommended for a few days. The scenery, both towards the reddish rock hills surrounding Portbou and looking towards the rocky coastal areas is stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. There are a few comfortable and reasonably priced hotels in the town as well as cosy cafés and shops. The train station is well-served by services to Barcelona-Sants and also Cerbere and southern France.

Very nice, small village next to a beach and sufficiently...

Very nice, small village next to a beach and sufficiently uncrowded to make it feel quiet and off the tourist track for the Costa Brava. Conveniently on the train line and food and drink not over priced. Some very nice, challenging walks with spectacular views of the Catalan and French coasts and a history that raises it above your average beach town. Be aware that there is only one supermarket in the town and it closes at 7 most nights.

the woman who gave us the key was wonderful and very helpful even though we didn't speak Spanish very well. the apartment was very clean and nice, and was also comfortably for the night. everything was wonderful even though I booked last-minute day-of because my friend and I got stranded in Portbou

With charming vintage style, we had a warm welcome at this traditional hotel. Our room was small but clean and comfortable, with the benefit of a good sized terrace balcony for sitting outside. Handy for the station and the beach.
