Its a beautiful city with lots to see and do. It was where i was beginning my start of the camino from here to Finsterre onto Muxia I had enough time to stroll round, to the roof top tour of the cathedral, visit the pilgrims museum and also get great tapas and great food. Loads to choose from A very easy city to navigate and walk around, with beautiful architecture. Bonasi was a great cafe with delicious food and coffee, definitely do the roof top tour and get some tapas. The only thing to remember most places are closed on Sundays so be mindful of this and many places close for the afternoon and reopen for food between 7:30/8:30pm so depending on when you like to have lunch/dinner keep this in mindGuest review byLouiseIreland - 10.0

Santiago is a beautiful city. It's old center town is magical, straight out of a story book from the middle ages. Getting around the old town is easy once you get used to it. It's tempting to say there are too many peregrines in Santiago and there are. But Santiago wouldn't be the same without them we visit Santiago every year as a chilling out restful end to our summer vacation in Vigo. We had a balcony (which is a must) otherwise it would have been too small. Very clean with a lovely view. Balcony is not completely private but we used it often. Shower was good, BEST pillow in Spain and bed was very comfortable. Property is not far from the Cathedral and is very close to the Mercado.
