Great Parador for a break on the camino ! The village of Cruz de Tejeda is small, only 2 accommodation options. It is welcoming for all pilgrins. It’s not cheap, but de rooms are good - very clean and spatious. Also the Spa service are great for a relaxing afternoon. 🎟️ Booking in advance is mandatory. You can stamp your credentials there. An amazing place with beautiful views. The apartment is finished to a very high standard, and the owner is lovely. We also found Lluvia the little doggy very sweet and gentle. We were also made an excellent breakfast!

This is still a fantastic place for a few nights hiking/get away. Food is absolutely amazing, service / staff well above average. I felt very welcome and everything was well organized. You can cook yourself but it’s honestly not worth it. We found the house meal top notch. They put on music for a nice feel, and everybody (who wanted) was chatting. Check in/out was a 1 min breeze. Enjoy your time there.

We made a very late booking at 19.30 and despite the late arrival, the owners father was so welcoming, and kind.. The accommodation is in a beautiful place with far reaching views.. The apartment is very well designed and has all you need for a break in Tejeda. A loveky quiet spot to explore the area.. great restaurants and a supermarket.

    Mountain town with beautiful surroundings. Many restaurants. On new years day only a few of them were open. Maybe the restaurant we choose was understaffed, we had to cancel our orders after waiting for more than an hour, without getting anything to eat.

    Tejeda is surrounded by great walks in complex scenery.

    Tejeda is surrounded by great walks in complex scenery. The village is located in a giant 20km diameter volcanic caldera with many rocky ridges around. The historic village is lovely, with lots of public parking available. Do leave plenty of time to travel there though as the roads to get there are tortuous, narrow, winding and slow. Therefore it's well worth staying a few nights in the place. Amazing and unusual place, well worth visiting.

    The mountain guide, Piergiorgio Pallara, chose a fantastic route for a pleasant hike near Tejeda. Another day we hiked from Texada Hostal to Artenara. After a day of hiking we enjoyed fine meals in Tejada’s restaurants.

    Tejeda is one of the most beautiful villages on the island.

    Tejeda is one of the most beautiful villages on the island. There's plenty of restaurants - also open in the evening (which is not obvious as a lot of them close at 17:00) and one of the best "dulcerias" of Gran Canaria.

    Set high up in the mountains Tejeda provides fabulous views of the surrounding mountains and rock features. It is also a good base to explore the whole island and the towns and views it offers. The bars and restaurants offer a good range of Canarian dishes. The main street is laid out as a precinct with some moving traffic with stunning balcony views of the surrounds.

    Beautiful town, loads of trails for hiking and running. Some really nice eateries and especially the famous almond dulcerias - come early in the morning as they get pretty busy in the middle of the day!

    A wonderful location. Tejeda is an absolutely lovely small town with amazing views. Our balcony was very pleasant and roomy and we ate our breakfast out there and also sat out with glasses of wine in the evening. The view from our balcony was stunning. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we liked that a very interesting guidebook was left there for us to use. I would definitely recommend this property -- and Tejeda -- to any of my friends travelling to Gran Canaria.

Optional (extra charge) infinity pool and spa / pamper facilities. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Roads to and from the venue are mountainous like the rest of the island, but not difficult. Parking provided.

    Very nice place with a beautiful view on the valley of the Tejeda. It was an extremely comfortable apartment. Everything was super clean and very comfortable. The bed was amazing with very cozy sheets. The kitchen and the bathroom were pristine clean. No noise at night. Really an outstanding place to spend a vacation.
