Fantastic location spot on the main square! Modern room, good standard, a real balcony big enough for two or three people to enjoy with square views, double bed with good quality madras,big shower, nice bathroom and in all a very positive stay😃. There was also a nice big terrass with views on the fifth floor. We did not expect all this for such a good price! And never forget the staff working, absolutely lovely, so helpful and full with energy and a true will to help. Thanks Veronica (and all the others:))

Spacious room with a big comfy bed. In the bathroom you could find hair conditioner and body lotion apart from the basic toiletries. The receptionists were very nice and helpful, also at the reception area you can have a free coffee/tea and water. The location is amazing! All in all, I highly recommend it.

    It’s a gorgeous city, walkable and with precious views.

    It’s a gorgeous city, walkable and with precious views. For a one day trip or a two-day if you want to properly stroll through the streets and visit every corner like I decided to do. Besides the usual touristy attractions like the cathedral (insane btw), I’d recommend to do a trail around the river area, breathtaking in all honesty!

    Staying in the Jewish Quarter was great as it was away from the main tourist crowds . The main square is very busy with buses driving through, We discovered an amazing spot for tapas- Taverna Botero. Extraordinary tapas with excellent service- enjoyed eating there 3 days in a row. An early morning walk along the river bank is a great way to view the beauty of the ancient stone walls towering above.

    Do your research in advance.

    Do your research in advance. Jewish quarter , Christian heritage, some Muslim heritage but no 20th century coverage. Forget the hop bus and take mini train instead, better info. Mostly walkable but quite hilly, not for wheelchairs.

    Toledo seemed to have less outdoor eating/drinking places than there were in Segovia which we also visited. I think this was perhaps due to the fact that buildings are so tightly packed together compared to Segovia. Its still very much worth a visit but perhaps three rather than four nights.

    Toledo is beautiful but very hilly and steep hills. If you could make me 10 years younger I could have seen and done more. The hop on hop off sightseeing bus was great for us. Every time we eat whether in highly rated restaurants or local cafes the food was fantastic and good value.

    We spent the first two nights of our fly drive trip around the region in Toledo and were not disappointed. Beautiful city, lots to see and do. The cathedral was beautiful - leave plenty of time to visit. It was quite a hectic two days and three would have been more leisurely.

    A young Ukrainian lady greeted me at reception when I first arrived. She was incredibly helpful, explained the underground parking, which was a major plus as I was travelling on a motorcycle, and provided me with a map of the city and general advice on where to go. She was always smiling and was always really helpful. The hotel was clean, near to the 'old town' part of the city and best of all had the underground and secure car park.
