This hotel is just beautiful. Our room was light and airy with the most beautiful bathroom. The attention to detail in the hotel was stunning. The receptionist was very welcoming, spoke excellent English and helped with suggestions for restaurants. Freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade cake was on the breakfast menu. A short walk takes you into the centre of this interesting town which made it's money from the wine that is produced here. The wine is excellent by the way!

The property itself was beautiful with 2 large windows opening out on to the most beautiful square with restaurants , bars and a church. We were there on a Sunday so got to experience and share a family Sunday with the warmest of Spanish people . Probably our favourite stop off experience to date . We have been coming to Spain for years with our dog cali by ferry to Bilbao and stopover somewhere different each time on our trip south to Malaga . We will definitely return to Valdepenas and blanco y Añil

This would be a great place to stay if you had business to do in Valdepenas or, like us, you wanted a place to break your journey on your way to Andalucia. The kitchen was very well equipped so we ate in our apartment as the weather was extremely wet. The town is centred around wine production and it would be a great place for wine lovers.

Valdepeñas is a small city known for its wine making.

Valdepeñas is a small city known for its wine making. The hills are surrounded by grape vines and olive trees. There are several bodegas where you can take part in wine tasting. The plaza is beautiful and perfect for sitting at a cafe and people watching.

VDP is a working class spainish town mainly full of youmg...

VDP is a working class spainish town mainly full of youmg families who I assume work on the vineyards etc. So don't come expecting designer shops like in Madrid because you will not find them. What yiu will find is Avery spainish atmosphere with low cost shops and bars which offer good value for money and a true local experience. We were not disappointed but don't come with your tourist hat on, enjoy it for what it is and you won't be disappointed. You get a tapa with every dribk and the drinks are not expensive. Try rest san antonio for great food and interesting local menu.

Friendly welcoming helpful staff. Very clean hotel with excellent parking (10e) and lovely big rooms. Cafeteria with great choice of food. Good breakfast. Only stayed one night but would have happily stayed longer. Nice town with bars shops restaurants

The bed was super comfy, the room was spacious.

The bed was super comfy, the room was spacious. We were just there for a night on our way from Bilbao to Malaga. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. The spa was good, we didn't try the gym. Steam room, jacuzzi and sauna not as hot as expected but comfortable. Everything was lovely and clean but in need of just a little TLC! The staff, especially Cristina in reception, were very helpful, patient and friendly. Lots of olive oil and wine!

The room was amazing, separate bedroom and bathroom from a corridor. It was on the third floor, with an enormous roof terrace with views across the town. It was quiet even through a busy Friday night with venues busy with people and music. The location was right in the old centre with restaurants and attractions. The staff were all friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Car parking was secure in an underground location. I have traveled, many years, across the world and this was one of the best ever hotel stays I have had.

If you are travelling with your pets it is perfect. They offer apartments and hotel rooms. Once a grand establishment with restaurants and bar it now only offers accommodation and breakfast. Very quiet location and perfect for passing through with your dog/dogs. Huge grounds to walk around. Jośe who greeted us was very nice.

easy and safe hotel underground parking. quite close to main square with several bars. hotel bar serves good choice of good food at reasonable prices. clean rooms and comfortable beds. very good breakfast selection including fried eggs and bacon.
