Christine and Nicolas are super hosts and made me feel very comfortably in their beautiful home. The setting and the gardens are fab plus a beautiful swimming pool tucked away. And I had the best sleep in months there before enjoying a lovely French breakfast in the dining room.

This was my best stay in an Ibis budget of the last 12 months. I arrived very late, after 2AM, after a long drive from Spain that started later than planned. However, the receptionist, while visibly tired was very helpful and welcoming. Before parking, the gate was also opening automatically without any procedures. Just perfect! When I got to the room, there was a big surprise: the wifi just worked! Recent visits to Ibis Budget were accompanied by problematic experiences with the wifi, not so anymore. The simple wifi procedures at Ibis have always been my favorite, and now it is so again. I could see my car from the room on the 2nd floor, always nice. Facilities were all good: a clean and spacious bathroom with a shower, sufficient AC outlets for charging my gear.

We absolutely enjoyed our time in the property. It is a renovated 18 century mansion with a perfect balance of historic touch and all you need from the modern times for a comfortable stay. Everything was excellent, we wish we knew in advance how nice it is, we would have stayed an extra day or two. Also make sure you dine at the small outdoor restaurant down by the river called La Capitainerie. Amazing food and wonderful owners who run it.

Welcome was very good from John Lewis. Homemade cherry pie. Standard of accommodation and the layout was perfect, full kitchen and supermarket 8 mins away, HyperU. Also ideal for more than a 1 night stayover to explore. Would have liked more time to stay at this property but ran out of time on our road trip around france Garden to sit in, secure parking for our motorbike. Fresh laid eggs for our breakfast along with usual continental breakfast items. Charlie the little yorkie was so sweet Would recommend a stay here
