Our hosts were remarkably welcoming and flexible. We arrived on a rainy day and they allowed us to check in at 13:00h. The room was beautiful, clean and impeccably decorated. There was a wonderful little kitchen and dining area that was generously appointed. The breakfast we were served was superb – a fresh smoothie, excellent coffee, fresh pastries, fruit, beautiful cheeses presented with nuts and dried fruit, wonderful bread, and eggs cooked to perfection. This is an accommodation not to be missed.

This town is a gem - the real France and away from the tourist beat. Its cathedral is unique and exceptionally old. A little French is a help here. Very good and inexpensive restaurants. Take the Little tour train for a great orientation.

Cahors is a nice little city.

Cahors is a nice little city. There isn't much spectacular to see or do, but it kept me busy for a day. The medieval bridge is nice, the cathedral was worth a visit, and it's nice to walk next to the river that encircles the city. Keep in mind, on Sundays, nearly everything is closed. Even finding a restaurant for dinner was a struggle. I wonder if the locals even eat on a Sunday...

Cahors has a great train station and plenty of buses.

Cahors has a great train station and plenty of buses. The town has everything you need and more. It is right on the River Lot. A great base to then explore vineyards, boating, beautiful villages. Cahors has a wonderful indoor market.

The Sat nav details on booking.com are still incorrect.

The Sat nav details on booking.com are still incorrect. Another guest complained about this on booking com in Sept 2021and hotel said they would correct it. Still not done. Makes for a stressful beginning to an otherwise good value overnight stay.

Cahors is a lovely old town which was great for an overnight stop. However, don't go on a Sunday or Monday as most places are closed, especially in the old town which was the part we were mainly interested in. Had a fab meal in L'Auberge restaurant in the old part of the town. We had to google restaurants that were open Sunday evenings and this came up. It was really lovely.

We stayed here 3 days that was sufficient for our needs. Nice area to walk around and in. Boat trips. Plenty of historic sites to see. Local wine producers. Plenty of local producers. Market on Saturday was extremely busy. Lovely fresh produce.

Fabulous location, perfect for walking into Cahors medieval centre. Very friendly and helpful staff even when I misunderstood due to language issues. Plenty of parking Room was lovely with a comfortable bed and balcony overlooking the river. NOT TO BE MISSED their restaurant is wonderful, the food is delicious, wine superb and the the staff excelled. All at a reasonable price as well Breakfast also very good with lots of choice.

The bedroom was exceptionally good in layout and facilities. The hotel whilst not particularly interesting architecturally is in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The underground garage was large enough to make access easy and we were grateful for the shade to keep the car cool in the very hot conditions. EV car charging is also available at a reasonable cost when compared to U.K. charge points.
