Beautiful house and wonderful host. Rooms are large and elegant with high ceilings and very comfortable beds. Madame de Carco is charming and helpful and so sweet to our young and annoying children. Lovely and clean accommodation photos don’t do it justice! Great friendly communication before arrival and contactless check-in. Very comfortable beds, Handsoap provided at all sinks thank you, kitchen well supplied with utensils, great walled garden for our dog to run around in. Smartly presented modern ground floor apartment in old French house. Private terrace with peaceful green outlook beyond yard. Ample private parking. Thoughtful inclusions of appliances, equipment and "extras" for max comfort and convenience. Friendly, helpful host. Supermarket at 3 min drive. Restaurant next door. Rest of town within walking distance .. for us not so relevant as it was a public holiday and most businesses shut.

The town was delightful to walk round, to see the old houses...

The town was delightful to walk round, to see the old houses and buildings. The church closed at 5 00 so we could not see the inside. Our hostess at the hotel provided a map and explanation so everything easy to find. We had dinner at the Cote D’Or, outside in the garden: excellent.

Old fashioned but welcoming hotel which we’ve stayed at several times on our way to and from the Alps. Nice, friendly staff, excellent location right on the town square and always very clean. A reminder of the ‘old’ France that we like so much! Excellent breakfast and great value!

Wonderful old period house in the town of Châtillon-sur-Seine. The room was large, airy and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was friendly and she very kindly provided us with delicious croissants as we had to leave very early in the morning.
