Lovely town situated by the river Vienne.

Lovely town situated by the river Vienne. A few good restaurants and bars. There is a market on a Friday. There are three food stores and for the DIY enthusiasts and builders there is a decent Bricomarche for all your needs.

This hotel is rated 3 stars but should be rated 5. The staff, room, and bed are brilliant. Both the dinner at the restaurant and breakfast are mouth watering. The garden area is very peaceful. I wish the day and the pool water was warmer because the pool is a highlight. For cyclists there is safe and secure area for your bikes. I would recommend a stay here for a couple of days.

We were greeted warmly by helpful staff, in the hotel and in the restaurant. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a larger than average bed. The standards of cleanliness were very high. The food in the restaurant and breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The place was calm and quiet with beautiful outside space to explore

The hotel was located just off the N147 in a village with good restaurants and shops. The room was comfortable and quiet. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The parking was convenient.

The hotel is great but a mixture of old buildings so takes a bit of getting used to. Breakfast is good . Excellent for me as I have an old house nearby.
