Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly, the environment was comfortable and intimate, the decor was beautiful, and it was amazing to soak in the jacuzzi while it was raining. This stay was an unforgettable experience for me. The hotel's dinner was also very delicious, the chef was handsome, and the ingredients were very fresh, sourced from the forest, private garden, and local suppliers. Surrounded by the forest at night and awakened by nature in the morning, it felt like we rediscovered our inner peace! We will definitely come back if we have the chance in the future!

Clean, comfortable, sufficient space for two dogs and free parking. Added bonus to having the restaurant onsite. Good quality food which was very well presented. Very friendly staff. Will definitely use again.

A very good, clean hotel with helpful and polite staff. Very good breakfast, spacious rooms and free parking. It had a swimming pool but due to the bad weather we didn't use it.

Very (very) friendly and helpful staff - each one I came across - from cleaners to reception to restaurant. Great location, just off the motorway in a quiet area with plently of local restaurants - although hotel's own restaurant is a good choice. Very clean, quiet and comfortable room. Secure parking (at no extra cost) which is locked at night. Dog friendly.

Easily accessed from the motorway. We wanted to sleep in comfort and have a decent breakfast to break a long journey. The hotel delivered this. It did seem to be a good place to stop with children, lots of outdoor space, play area and a pool. I am gluten free and the breakfast offered me plenty to choose from. We will definitely return.

The Fortress is a must-see.

The Fortress is a must-see. We only discovered it by accident, but had we been there longer, would have planned for a full day visit. You can partake in various ancient traditions and have great souvenirs from your trip with something you made yourself. Great for kids or adults. There are translations in other languages available in case you don't understand fluent French. The guide is extremely entertaining if you do understand the language though!

Beautiful property and location. Old but charming. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would like to go back and explore the surrounding area. The food in the restaurant was exquisit along with the wine and service.

The staff were fantastic. Friendly helpful and professional . However what is not clear from the website is there are 3 buildings. The main building although tired is beautiful. The other two are dark, poorly furnished and smell damp. The bathrooms need to be replaced. The junior suite we had purchased was NOTHING LIKE the website. When we objected even the staff were embarrassed by showing us equally poor rooms. If you go to this hotel MAKE SURE YOU STAY IN MAIN BUILDING.

We stayed in the quaint Games keeper’s house. Our stay was excellent, comfortable and very memorable. We made ourselves at home and were sad to leave this location. We explored the surrounding Chateau’s in the mornings and then spent each afternoon by the swimming pool until dinner. The main restaurant is fine dining with French cuisine. There is also a snack menu which is really good and we had this a couple nights as dinner on the terrace of the hotel.

The chateau was located within idyllic French gardens. The hotel upgraded us upon arrival which was a lovely surprise. Room was located within the main building and very tastefully done. Very comfortable bed and good quality sheets. Bathroom was large and equipped with luxurious soap and amenities. Good shower pressure and good wifi connection. No elevator but we had no trouble with luggage as the concierge helped to bring them to and from our room.

A beautiful B&B in a great location. The room and the pool were lovely and the best breakfast! Its only 10 minutes walk into the town of Montbazon which has a really relaxed vibe and great restaurants to enjoy. The location is very easily accessible to explore Chateaus of the Loire Valley such as Chateau de Villandry and also you can get the train into Tours for the day from Montabazon.
