Close to the beach, nice infrastructure. Very friendly and customer oriented staff. At departure day we left our baggage until the evening, and upon returning to the hotel we had the opportunity to take a shower and change clothes before the plane, which was important and pleasant, since it was hot outside. I especially want to thank Yazid and Olga, whose attentive attitude makes me want to come back again.

The location and eclectic vibe of Hotel Amour are superb! It's just a 2-minute walk from the tram station and a bus line to the train station, making it excellent for travel. Additionally, there are plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby, like La Trattoria (a 4-minute walk) for Italian cuisine, Garden Cafe (only 2 minutes away) for a delicious breakfast, and the hotel’s own restaurant, which is absolutely amazing – SO, SO good!

    It was all good. I expected it to be more expensive than England. though it was about on par with London in this respect. Nice is a very lovely city with easy access to all transport. It is mainly flat where i walked also.

    Nice is a very attractive and beautiful city with great sea views and plenty of historical sights. It's easy to get around central Nice either by tram or on foot. It's also a gateway to many adjacent places like Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Menton.

    We visited in late September and the weather was fabulous and whilst we stayed in the Old Port section of the city we were able to access most of the key sites and attractions on foot. Would recommend the one hour coastal cruise as it was a quick way to see Nice from the water. Lots of eateries and bars to suit all budgets. Take time, and make the effort to visit Castle Hill where you can enjoy breathtaking views from the top of the hill where the Castle of Nice once stood. Castle Hill, which towers over Nice’s historic core, is the most popular park in town. Hike uphill through a set of winding trails or take the free elevator to the top, though be prepared to queue at busy times. The park is worth visiting any time of the day with great views over the Promenade des Anglais, Old Port and surrounds. A cannon shot goes off at noon every day.

    Loved the old town, the markets, easy access to the Promenade des Anglais, huge choice of restaurants, great atmosphere, so easy to travel around by bus along the Riviera coast road. Tram was excellent to and from the airport. Weather and sunsets stunning.

    Old Town was wonderful.

    Old Town was wonderful. Watch out for the thieving bar stewards on the tram - We thought we could tap on tap off, but it didn't work. We thought we would get to the end and explain to the ticket collectors and pay the fare. Instead the ticket collectors were fine collectors. 60 euros each fine for a 2 minute tram journey. There were at least 10 English people queuing up to ask for help and all they got was a fine too. I would have resisted and waited for Plod to turn up which is what they were threatening, but i only had 2 days and didn't fancy spending one of those days in a cell;)

    Exactly as it looks on line. Bright, airy, spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped appartment. Living area is very large room. Small balcony with side sea view perfect for breakfast. Quiet side road between Bd des Anglais (sea) and Rue de France (local shops). Tram stop just around the corner, from Airport to Port via Garibaldi (for old town). Lovely bakery opposite tram stop. Close to Musee des Beaux arts and Villa Massena - both included in museum pass (15 euro for 3 days).
