    the location was ideal for the motorway. the hotel downstairs and outside was perfect and the food was amazing although a limited menu. the staff were excellent the room however was not great we were put into the side of the hotel that the rooms had not been done up and we had bare plaster on the walls and a tiny bath. would like to have seen a room that had been done up. we had a view of a external staircase not very pleasant.

    Great hotel and restaurant, nice setting with pretty garden, but food and drinks were extra so the evening cost more than double the advertised price.
