Great hotel, really happy with everything about this place. warm and cosy rooms, staff were very helpful. The location could not be faulted - very very easy to access the main railway station; metro and also the airport tram. There is a shopping mall a 2 min walk away with supermarket, food hall, restaurants etc for convenience.

Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. The staff were extremely helpful and charming. We were also upgraded to a much larger room, at no extra cost, as our luggage could not fit comfortably into the room that was reserved for us. The facilities in the rooms were very good.

Room view was excellent, very clean and comfortable overall. What I didn’t expect was the level of service from all staff, but especially the concierge. Francois and Julien were the most excellent concierge I’ve ever come across. Will stay in Villa Maia again when I go back Lyon just for the concierge team.

Marie and Michel were so welcoming. Our flight was delayed which meant we did not arrive till 2am, both stayed up for us and Michel helped us to get to the property as our rental car shop had closed. It really put us at ease at a really stressful time. We were looking for a relaxing few nights and the property met everything we needed, secluded but close by to shops so we could get food in, a pool, a beautiful view and two gorgeous and gentle dogs that greeted us everyday. The property is so unique and feels safe and secure.
