This is a wonderful 10/10 stay. We were a little co concerned because of the mixed reviews. The hotel has recently changed ownership. Charlotte and Fabrice are incredibly warm and welcoming. The rooms are fantastic, pool lovely with a stunning view. We were even so late for dinner one night that Fabrice cooked us a 3course dinner of duck breast and beans. Highly recommend!!

The rooms were lovely, aircon great!! Nice walk into the township where all the restaurants were. Beautiful patisserie down the road called Boulangerie Pâtisserie Vermeulen. Pool area great and clean. La Caravelle restaurant is great - all of them are $$ but this one is well worth the money. Beautiful food.

The view from the apartment to the beach was beautiful. You could see the sea and the yachts. The apartment size is sufficient for a small family. The apartment is pleasant and very well-equipped. Beaulieu sur Mer and Villefranche-sur-Mer Beaches are easily accessible from the apartment, and a grocery store is also nearby. We give this apartment a 10/10 rating in every aspect.

    Very cute town just 15 minutes from Nice. Charming and welcoming. Some really good eateries such as La Grignoterie. Grocery store 'Casino' is a rip-off, dont go unless you just need one or two things

    The town is amazing, the location of the property was right...

    The town is amazing, the location of the property was right in the middle of everything. The place we stayed at was not prepared and cleaned for us, and management could care less. It makes you reconsider coming to France again.

    Villefranche-sur-Mer is a charming town just outside of Nice, offering a quieter, less touristy experience. It’s perfect for strolling, dining, and soaking in the local atmosphere—a smaller, more peaceful version of Nice. It’s also easy to get around using the train or Uber, with quick access to both Nice and Monte Carlo. The location is central, making it a great base for exploring nearby towns and taking day trips.

    I have lived in Villefranche-sur-Mer, therefore I know it...

    I have lived in Villefranche-sur-Mer, therefore I know it well. It is a gem on the Côte d'Azur, a simple village, without the glamour of other places nearby. In recent years it has lost a lot of the local population, as most of its housing stock has become second homes. The beach is free, a rarity. And with the local trains is it possible to visit all the famous places, such as Beaulieu, Monaco, Antibes, and of course Nice. In winter it is very quiet, and most of the shops are closed. In the summer it gets very crowded, especially when the cruise ships visit for the day. Parking is expensive and very difficult to find.

    If you are just going to see Villefranche-sur-Mer and Cap...

    If you are just going to see Villefranche-sur-Mer and Cap Ferrat, 2 days is more than enough. Lovely old town and great Sea walks. Except for down on the beach, walking is an effort due to the hill and we like to hike. Parking spaces, even paid ones, can be challenging to find.

    Charming hotel in an excellent location on the sea-front in Villefranche. The harbour, restaurants, Cocteau-decorated chapel all on the doorstep and a 10-minute walk to the train station. Reception staff very helpful, rooms clean and quiet. Lovely balcony to the room with a table and chairs for the morning sun. Shower over bath was good. Hotel full of character and a history of interesting famous characters who have stayed here over the years.

    We loved our stay in Villefranche and much of this was thanks to the beautiful apartment. It is situated in a good location near a direct bus route and within walking distance of the towns main attractions. We really appreciated the extra amenities which included beach towels and umbrella, iron and coffee machine. Best of all, the Booking Guys team (esp Prescillia) were helpful, flexible and responsive to any of our queries. Recommended!

    The hotel is super cute and has the most beautiful view first off. The location is great, not too close to all the hustle and bustle but still close enough to walk to the centre of Villefranche sur Mer in 10 minutes or so. Annick, her husband and the staff were fantastic and looked after us in every way. Breakfast looks out onto the most picture card sea view, what's not to like!

    The views from over the bay from the breakfast / pool area and from our rooms were stunning. The hotel is on a good location - it’s a short walk to VilleFranche new town / old town and to the sea front and a short bus trip / drive into Nice. All of the staff were excellent and provided great service. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
