Luxurious twin bedded room with en suite. Tasty continental and full Welsh breakfast. Parking on site. Quiet restful nights' sleep. We checked in and the host gave us rrcommendations gor yhe best pub to eat in Rhayader (and she was right) Abbey Cwm Hir is certainly off the beaten track with some narrow twisty roads leading there. But its a little gem when you get there. If time allows go visit the ruins of the twelfth century Cisterian Monestary. Its alleged that this is where the last Prince of Wales (Llywelyn ap Gruffydd's body was buried) after being slain near the river Irfon at Cilmeri near Builth Wells by a member of King Edward the 1st of England in 1282.
