The location is great, very easy to reach by car. The staff was very nice and they helped us with any requests. The room was large with an amazing view to the sea, there were comfortable beds and a good bathroom. The breakfast was outstanding, served "a la carte" in an amazing dining room.

The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and the staff was excellent. Everybody was so kind and helpful. The new owners had just opened the hotel a couple weeks before we arrived and the upgrades they had done were exquisite, a beautiful mix, new yet still with the British old charm. Beautiful breakfast menu, home cooked and delicious.

The room was charming, wth a very comfortable King bed; two side tables with lamps; a small table with 2 lounge style chairs, a writing desk with its own lamp; tea/coffee facilities and the heated rails in the modern bathroom maintaining a comfortable temperature. The old casement windows have a wide ledge, perfect for sitting and taking in the view - in my case the Esplanade and water views - gorgeous and relaxing. The Breakfast room follows the period theme with a buffet set up with cereals, pastries etc along with tea/coffee, there is also a varied full breakfast menu. The staff were fabulous, attentive, helpful, respectful and friendly, dinner was in the bar/dining room there was a great menu choice and a nice atmosphere.
