The hotel is very well maintained in every detail. The staff is fantastic – always smiling, friendly, and helpful. The room was not very spacious, but nicely furnished, with spotless white bed and bathroom linen. Everything looked quite new and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit and fruit salad, bread with jams, delicious croissants and muffins (chocolate and blueberry), waffles, and of course all you need for a full English breakfast.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, we felt at home straight away. The rooms were spacious and clean. The dinner and breakfast the next morning were delicious. All in all a lovely stay on the Thames Path.

    A very nice, quiet village on the outskirts of Oxford. It was a perfect base for us to travel a bit further south. We didn't look around the village, but we spent Saturday visiting St. Albans, Harpingdon and Hemel Hempstead.
