The view was stunning, very quiet relaxing property. Room was adequate and spacious, bed comfortable enough. The food was delicious and fresh. Chef and staff go extra lengths for a beautiful dining experience. We were impressed as it is in more of a remote location.

An amazing property - wish we could have stayed for much longer. Beautiful house and gardens which were so peaceful. Great place to relax and recharge. The room was huge and very comfortable with amazing views. The girls in charge were really friendly and lovely to deal with and the breakfast was superb. Will definitely be back one day!

Staff were incredibly friendly - especially the women who checked us out. We brought a large dog and they were very accommodating towards us. Such spacious rooms with the most amazing beds! Would definitely stay here again :)

    Darren and Karen are wonderful hosts. The Old Cottage is a perfect place to stay to explore the area. Stunning location and fabulous accommodation! My room was very comfortable and spacious, and the bed was amazing! Excellent breakfast too! Everything about my stay was superb and I will be back. Highly recommend!

    Loads to see and do in the area for if you like the outdoors. Hill walking, water sports available. Loch Melfort Hotel is handy for good food and drink. Easy access to west coast and all its attractions.

    Very comfortable, nice room and en suite. Plenty of space.

    Very comfortable, nice room and en suite. Plenty of space. Easy to book a table for an evening meal at the nearby Hotel. The B&B breakfast next morning was great. Friendly hosts who helped all guests feel at home. Excellent supply of books and tourist info.
