Couldn't fault this little Gem, and the Hosts were fabulous and so understanding. I have quite a few health issues and when I had a bad turn early on and struggled to make checkout they were so attentive to my needs, honestly I can't recommend this place enough. It's beautiful.

Absolutely stunning cottage. This was everything we needed to relax, snuggle up with a great read and a pot of tea. Truly relaxing and a perfect location for a stomp in the hills too. Fab pubs nearby also. We will certainly book again. Bed was super comfy as well and the thrill of the Aga heating up the cottage was perfection! Thank you for having us.

Absolutely outstanding hotel—far above the rest in the area!- and only 10 minutes walk to the food stadium. For half the price of other nearby options, you get rooms that are twice the quality. Spacious, clean, and beautifully done—better than many so-called premium hotels. The food? Easily 5-star. Honestly, it topped what I’ve experienced at high-end hotels in Manchester and London.     It was a lazy weekend for us to unwind and just chill out.

    It was a lazy weekend for us to unwind and just chill out. Walk out to the singing ringing tree (didnt hear a thing despite the cold wind). Followed by an amazing meal at Jalpur (2 for 1 added bonus!) Easy access to local supermarkets, shopping areas and Ilkley Moor on the way home. Would have loved to explore the area more but will do so in the future

    Cosy, warm and pretty cottage with stunning views of the surrounding countryside; small, but all basics provided. Log burner was great for cool evenings. Comfortable bedroom with plenty of room for clothes, etc. A garden overlooks fields and farmland. Lots of good walks in the area. Had a good meal in the Barley Mow pub about a mile away. The cottage is a fair drive away from Barrowford, which is a pleasant town with cafes, pubs and restaurants.

    Great nights sleep in a comfortable bed with the window open felt safe as a female solo traveler. I loved the rural quiet village location and layout of the room bedroom upstairs with a nice view over the garden from the window and a skylight that could be opened at night and a new smart TV with Free Netfix the shower was very hot with good pressure. Great Value

    People are very friendly, plenty of places to eat and drink, from cafes, pubs, restaurants to Michelin star eateries if you fancy. Great for walking, lots of easy access routes. Barrowford sites right on the canal network and also has the River Pendle running through it. A hub to many other interesting places to visit.

    The evening meals were very good in the pub.

    The evening meals were very good in the pub. Highly recommended. If booking, state you want rooms 1-4 and avoid rooms 5 and 6. It seems to be a good place for walking but as it rained the whole time we were unable to take advantage. Roads are narrow so no parking available. All routes should be planned to start from the pub car park, providing you are staying there.

    IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, BUT NOT FAR AWAY. BEAUTIFUL NATURE. ROOMS ARE SEPARATE BESIDE A VERY NICE PUB WITH KITCHEN. VERY NICE ACCOMODATION, LIKE A MINI-MAISONETTE. INCLUSIVE LITTLE KITCHEN (THAT i DID NOT USE, BUT WELLPROVIDED).
