The suite we got was fantastically comfortable and cosy. The vegan breakfast was delicious and also plentiful, which is just what you need for a long day exploring the estate. The staff are really friendly but also very professional. The location is very convenient for Chatsworth House (leave your car at the Inn and enjoy a leisurely 45-minute walk through the fields and along the riverbank).

I had a wonderful stay! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. My room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Not to mention the exceptional restaurant (listed in the Michelin Guide, which speaks for itself) and the beautiful Sunday roast I enjoyed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Derbyshire!

Beautiful room with airco and exceptional bathroom. Dinner was great and so was the breakfast. The upgrade we got helped a little, but I'm sure even the regular rooms are great.

Beautiful location! Only a couple minutes from Bakewell but so calm and peaceful. We had the best view of all the cows outside our room and the restaurant was great. I would definitely recommend this place as the perfect location in the peak district- close enough to town and for all the hiking you could want!

Everything was excellent however the one thing we missed was a lift as we had three heavy suitcases to take upstairs. We were aware of that when we booked and it would ruin the old hotel to do that and a young man helped us up with our cases. The atmosphere, room sizes, cleanliness, service and food were all excellent.

    Have a walk round the village .

    Have a walk round the village . Some hiking routes starting at top of the village. Very close to Chatsworth House . Matlock, Baslow and Bakewell not far away . Peak District offers so many things for a traveller looking for a relaxing weekend or a longer holiday. Stayed in Beeley Arms a few times the food is first class and sells some good quality beers and wines.
