Perfect location and a great seaside town hotel, perfectly located for the Opera House / Winter Gardens, and many bars & restaurants. A two minute walk to the beach and pier. Lovely greeting from Robert, who also cooked us a great breakfast! Spotlessly clean. Parking on the road to the side of the hotel, or secure parking for a small charge a few yards away. We were called the day before by Carol, the owner, asking if we would like to check in early. Overall, extremely helpful and accomodating.

Hotel is situated in an excellent location pretty much in-between the tower and the pleasure beach with a tram stop nearby if you don't fancy walking. FAQs about hotels in Blackpool

Beside the Seaside, Beside the Sea

A favored vaction spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.

On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!

More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognizable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modeled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.

A popular bachelor and bachelorette destination, Blackpool has accommodations ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.

Blackpool is a fun place to be for all ages no matter what time of year you visit, Lots of pubs and eating establishments some are a little expensive and some are cheap, it pays to look around and don't always go into the first place you see. There are always cheaper options to be found for the same drink or meal if your on a budget. Try pubs and eating establishments in the side streets or in the back streets away from the centre where you can buy a pint from as little as £1.75 and a burger for £1.50 Blackpool is just Blackpool and is a great place to visit

Unfairly underated by some.

Unfairly underated by some. It has entertainment with live shows, firework displays, cabaret shows and a beautiful promenade to walk along. Can be expensive on the promenade for treats, but two streets back, behind the promenade and, the prices are very good. If you want to dine out there are several good restaurants and quite a few pubs that have quite a high quality of food for the prices e.g. The Duke pub had very good food at £12 for two people and the amounts served were more than reasonable. Most of the pubs and clubs have cheaper prices than you might expect, but like anywhere you can spend a lot if you want to, but on the whole it's a much cheaper weekend than going out in some if not all of the major UK cities. Lots of renovation has been done over the years and it's getting nicer each year. It has it's own welcoming style and is one of my favourite affordable escapes. If the sun's out it's an even bigger bonous. But bring a cardigan or sweater if the weather is windy.

We only stayed for a short trip as my friend is still working, she had never been to Blackpool before, I have many times. Blackpool has something for everyone and there are always things to do and places to eat for all tastes and pocket. As a Weatherspoons fan -there are three, so you know what food you can get and drinks are great value, even though extremely busy in the evening, service there was quick on the one evening we ate there. Easy travel with the trams, buses or ponies with carriages, as a disabled person I still managed and found the pavements generally quite level to walk. Multi attraction tickets bought in advance are a good saving for things like the Tower, Tussauds etc etc

The beaches are lovely.

The beaches are lovely. You can buy a one-day ticket that covers all trams and buses which include Fleetwood, Bispham, Lytham St Annes. Bispham Red bank road has lovely restaurants. The piers are all worth a visit. The Zoo is fantastic with Sea Lion demonstrations. There are lions, tigers, elephants including a baby elephant born September 2nd this year. There are more than 7 species of monkeys and a family pf gorillas including the male silver back, there are theatres with plays, musical entertainments, the illuminations including heritage illuminated trams.

Just returned home from a 3 night stay as a family of 5, the room is very spacious and excellent view over the sea/pier. Breakfast was really good value for money and no pressure to order it. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely 1 of the best hotels we have stayed in at blackpool and will be saving it for when we return as it is the perfect location for pleasure beach and sandcastle which is the main reason we visit. Thanks again for a great weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at the Brooklyn Hotel. The owners were lovely and friendly and really easy to talk to. The bar was a nice touch to relax in the evenings. The room was nice and spacious and bigger than what I expected. The cooked breakfasts were excellent and really tasty. The location near the seafront was excellent with a tram stop at the end of the road and only a 20 min walk to Blackpool Tower and the town centre. Brilliant value for money as well.

Very friendly staff treated you like family coming to stay. Breakfast was the best I've tasted. The bar was great . Rooms very cosy and beds were so comfortable. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. Throughout. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and give it 10 out of 10 for cleanliness. And room and staff plus food. If you go to the clifton court hotel . You won't be disappointed. There you'll go to stay in blackpool over and over .
