A wonderful historic town well worth a visit for a few days.

A wonderful historic town well worth a visit for a few days. Also an easy commute to Bath via the City's park and ride scheme. Short term car parks are small and often full. However, a very large, longer term car park is located at the railway staion in Zone B. All car parks are free in the evening from 6pm.

Great town with lots of character.

Great town with lots of character. Find parking a big problem, insufficient provision which would deter most. As we we're staying on a bus route, found that mode of transport to be more convenient/ less stressful.

We enjoyed staying in Bradford on Avon- lots of lovely buildings and a beautiful river. A lovely, quieter alternative to staying in Bath. We walked the 16 kms into Bath along the river, spent time in Bath, then caught the train back to Bradford on Avon- lovely day!

    Very picturesque but very hilly.

Very picturesque but very hilly. Couldn't believe that two pubs on canal both closed at 5pm Traffic is horrendous and locals were complained how regularly they had the road dug up causing even more chaos. Lovely walks along river and canal. A lovely destination in sunny weather but not a place to go on a rainy day

BoA is a lovely historic town with many Georgian buildings with the advantage that all the main sights within easy walking distance. The town has an industrial past, but most of the historic landmarks have now been converted into flats meaning they can only be viewed from the outside. The museum has very limited opening hours and was closed for the duration of my visit. As expected from a tourist town, things are quite expensive in both restaurants and shops. Parking is very limited and the roads narrow - far more suited to horses than cars! I saw two minor traffic accidents in three days and some of the shopkeepers said this was normal!

Because the weather was so lovely we were able to walk along the river and canal, enjoying a cup of tea at the Aquaduct. The Tithe barn area was busy but lovely crafts and cafes too. We also enjoyed using the town map to walk around and find historical buildings and The Shambles shopping area was delightful.

Beautiful rural location with ducks and even lambs. The room was a great size and extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and Helen is an absolutely lovely host. Lovely walk into Bradford on Avon via nearby fields and easy access to bath and Bristol from the train station

The accommodation is an historically old building and full of charm. It is walking distance to the town of Bradford on Avon. The room we had was large and comfortable. This is not a conventional B+B but it suited our needs perfectly. We would be happy to stay again.

The property is cosy and comfortable with a lovely view from the front. Lovely host Joy provides essentials, cake and obedient dogs! This was my second stay and I felt so at home. Great position for visiting Bradford on Avon and just a short journey to Bath.

The breakfast was very good, only one thing missing that I like was black pudding, which is not to everyone's taste. The location for Bradford on Avon was very good.
