Donkeys in the street! Dont forget to visit the bakery; bread and pastries to die for and wonderful apple doughnuts. Also a very nice coffee/lunch/tea room. A good local butcher and several other interesting shops. There is a large public car park with toilet facilities. White Tails restaurant is just round the corner. The hotel’s setting is simply fabulous—surrounded by the beauty of the New Forest, it provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing escape. We were thoroughly impressed by the quality and range of the facilities, which exceeded all our expectations and truly enhanced our stay. A special word of appreciation must go to your staff, who were consistently friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Their warm welcome and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and made us feel completely at home throughout our visit. We would like to give particular thanks to ‘Sarah’?, who headed up the Conservatory Restaurant. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. The toiletries and tea/coffee facilities were excellent. Beautiful gardens and a great bar and restaurants.
