I liked everything about the experience. It was in a beautiful setting, the building was charming and comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was divine and incredibly good value.

This is a lovely little hotel, perhaps more a B&B, for visits to Dartmoor. Beautiful location with enormous garden. We felt really at home. Nice little bar with good wine, cozy living room with fireplace and rooms are top. We warmly recommend Weeke Barton.

Very good communication from the host. Simple key-safe check-in. We loved the welcome chocolates upon arrival and the quirky selection of complimentary drinks in the mini bar and were grateful for the milk. There were even ice cubes in the small freezer. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was decent with no shortage of hot water. We slept with the curtains open so that we could appreciate the lovely view and see the sunrise in front of us in the morning. Everything we needed was provided, and the coffee made in the machine was great. My daughter loved watching the fish from the terrace. We will return for another stay next time we are in the area.

    Dunsford is beautiful. There's a nice pub nearby that does excellent food, along with the pub at Fingle Bridge that also does excellent food and is right by the river, beautiful on a summers evening.

    This is an easily accessible pub with rooms situated close to the Devon national park. The rooms fulfil the needs of a traveller who is staying for a few days. The hosts made me feel very welcome and even though I stayed on a night that they do not officially serve food they made me a meal from the full menu that was delicious. Great place- great hosts - great value
