We checked in so late due to some road repair works around 11 pm, yet everything was perfectly arranged at the reception with directions to go to the room and wifi password. Rooms had a Victorian look, the beds were cozy, room heaters were working, We were late for breakfast, the staffs were kind enough to arrange the basic stuffs. Overall a very warm feeling on a long road trip

The accomadation was squeky clean. The owners left a book with instructions and lots of information and instructions. It couldnt be more helpful. Also there was a bookcase with books and movies, a jar with chocolate powder and even a jar with marshmallows, what is not to like about that! We could really notice that the owners cared!

We enjoyed visiting the water fall and walking in the woods...

We enjoyed visiting the water fall and walking in the woods and along the coastal path. We had tea and cake at the golf club. They were absolutely wonderful. They allow dogs in too. We highly recommend a visit, even if you don’t play golf. The Old Inn pub was very welcoming too. Especially if you have dogs. The mountain coffee shops and book shop was excellent too.

A lovely little harbour village from our experience.

A lovely little harbour village from our experience. Lovely surroundings and a handy little general store, along with access to boat hire and trips etc. we were passing through as an overnight stay on the NC500 experience, and it was an ideal stop over.

A bit difficult to say as the recent storm was in full flow...

A bit difficult to say as the recent storm was in full flow by the time we arrived but it was still a beautiful place. A great location for those who like the outdoors and also for those who enjoy the natural beauty. There are a number of restaurants and the museum is well worth a visit.

From the write up about the hotel it made it sound as if it was in Gairloch but it was quite a long distance away. The facilities by the harbour were closed for the winter even though it was September. The sister hotel was OK except dog friendly and they were in the dining area. The waterfall was beautiful.

Gairloch is lovely; we stayed two days and enjoyed our...

Gairloch is lovely; we stayed two days and enjoyed our travels out and about in the area but would not return to this hotel again. Hated having to come back to it for the second night, whereas we should have been looking forward to it. We had to experience another night in a double bed that was two single beds put together (badly).... and that had two SINGLE quilts on top ????? - and then to wake up in the morning to a second breakfast - a repeat of the awful shambles the day before. So - Gairloch is a lovely place but this hotel is NOT recommended. Way overpriced and under delivers in all areas.

Great place with spectacular, inspiring scenery, a nice little town with good facilities, nice cafe and farm shop as well as an excellent museum. The only downside when we visited was the local chippy only opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday!😊

The sun room was superb for relaxing in, the beds were comfy the kitchen well equipped, shower powerful & well done for the bath (so many places only have showers) The beach at Gairloch beautiful and very easily accessed. Surrounding countryside stunning Local butchers and fishmonger van excellent Fabulous property and fabulous holiday

The hotel is in a great location with lovely views of Gairloch bay. We had a lovely welcome from June who continued to look after us very attentively and efficiently during our stay. Evening meals were very good but the limited menu didn't change very much from day to day.

The location couldn't have been better and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I often find hotel rooms are far too hot, but my room at the Gairloch Hotel was a nice, comfortable temperature. Very welcoming to dogs too!
