This hotel is excellent. We loved the room - it was very large and the bed was very comfortable. We had a mini bar included and it was replenished each day. If we ever come back to Glasgow, this will be the place where we will stay. Love it!

A wonderful place to stay in the Merchant City. Friendly staff (including the owner), amazing food and drink, great location, loads of character and tradition. Babbity Bowster has only around six rooms. I stayed in a single room, which was small, but very nicely furnished. Worth a visit even if you aren't staying over. The do a lovely pint of Chieftain IPA from Cork! Sláinte!!

A former European City of Culture, it is home to many national organizations including the Scottish Ballet and the National Theatre of Scotland. The museums are also world-class. Don't miss the futuristic Glasgow Science Centre and the eclectic exhibits at the Kelvingrove.

I've been to glasgow before for TRNSMT Festival but this time was more leisurely. It's a great place to explore and doesn't deserve the rough image it gets. The people have a heart of gold. I can highly recommend the Merchant City area for places to eat.

The murals are amazing.

The murals are amazing. The centre is fairly compact so you can walk to most places. There are several lovely parks by the river. Huge choice of restaurants - we ate at Halloumi - really good Greek food, La Vita Spuntini - excellent Italian, and Small Plates (Ugly Mates) - unusual Spanish tapas

I wish I could float around the central area of Glasgow at one level above ground because the architecture is amazing (and shop fronts are never much to look at). Beautiful 18th and 19th century buildings throughout the centre and West End. Green spaces like Kelvingrove Park, the university area and Botanical Gardens. Easy transport links to Edinburgh (45 minutes) and the west coast. It also has the first modern art gallery I've ever enjoyed (GOMA)! The centre and West End are amazing for a visit, the rest of the city is primarily residential

A small, typical hotel in Glasgow. The staff are very friendly and welcoming! The single room has everything you need for a medium-length stay. Although close to the streets, it is quiet. It is located near the university (10 minutes) and the city centre (10-15 minutes).
