The location was breathtaking. The staff was courteous and attentive. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The mattress was firm but not hard, the duvet was warm and the two pillows were comfy. The water was as hot as you'd like and the towels were huge and fluffy. The room's heat could be controlled by us and there was a towel warmer in the washroom. The breakfast was fresh and hot with a lovely variety. I was so pleased that it wasn't just pastries and yogurt but also included eggs, bacon, French toast, sausage, etc. as well as granola, smoothies, and muffins.

Access was very easy and comfortable. Though there are no private parking spaces available at the accomodation. Enough suitable public parking is available close by. The rooms were spacious and clean and the location right next to the canal is to die for.

Recently renovated with great attention to details in Scottish style. Very clean, but dog friendly. Old cow shed made into their beautiful Indian restaurant (Emily’s byre). Nice upstairs room in a Victorian style with all the amenities of a 5* accommodation.

It was great! the view is amazing, very comfortable . the owners were fantastic helping as with everything we need. they helped as getting the bikes , with the bike paths to take . really nice people ! i highly recommend this place !

We were upgraded to a double from 2 single beds at no extra charge and no fuss. Manager was very helpful and showed us a lovely clean room with great clean bathroom. Entire place was spotless. The location was excellent. The attached Chinese restaurant was one of the best I've ever eaten in and I've eaten in many.
